Works “out of the box” Yes – It works perfectly with no manual modifications, or degraded performance.
As well, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? Email me about changes to this bug report.

The MARA use 10ex-8176 orinoco or the hostap drivers. Downloaded the latest daily compat-wireless tarball compat-wireless from  and built it:. In Dapper, if you want to use k networkmanager, you may want to use the hostap driver instead of the orinoco one.
